Probably the most frequently used techie resource other than plain old email for coordinating co-parenting schedules is www.ourfamilywizard.com. Especially in higher conflict families or those that are handy with the internet, this appears to be a good alternative to reqular email or the old fashioned traveling notebook as a tool to help exchange information and coordinate schedules. There is a small fee for each parent to use the site.
Here’s a description from the website:
We help parents who are separated, divorced or living apart and the family law professionals who work with them manage communication, parenting time schedules, children’s’ activities, expenses and other important information using our website. The OurFamilyWizard® website is the perfect tool for creating accountability and visibility in your shared custody relationship. All information stored on the site is secure, backed-up and always available to you. Co-parenting or parenting after a divorce or separation can be very hard, give your family the tools they need to succeed.
